In the interests of expediting school recruitment processes to help both Principals and applicants for the commencement of 2010 school year, the Catholic Education Office will trial a new application and selection process for permanent and temporary teaching vacancies other than leadership roles.
Applicants seeking vacancies may apply for more than one vacancy using a single teaching application form (instead of completing one application form per position). Where this is the case, applicants will need to clearly state their order of preference for vacancies using this Order of Preference form.
This process will further allow Principals to conduct interviews in nominated precinct groups as appropriate, as opposed to conducting one-off interviews for each position.
Download and complete the appropriate (internal or external) teaching application form. New Teachers to the Diocese are required to complete the external application form.
Attach the necessary supporting documentation to your application, ensuring certified copies of the original have been provided where appropriate.
Download and complete the “Order of Preference” form. Please complete the form for only those positions you are prepared to teach at and accept if successful at interview.
Send by the closing date, your completed application, covering letter and order of preference form to;
