CEDoW staff have joined educators from across NSW at the Hunter Valley in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle to attend the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Catholic Education NSW State Conference. In its second day today, the conference has been a fantastic opportunity to explore, connect, discern and share knowledge and wisdom in relation to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander education.

The Diocese of Wollongong is strongly represented by 40 CEDoW teachers, AEAs, CEO staff and CatholicCare personnel, who have been greatly enriched by inspiring keynote addresses, workshops and cultural immersions.

The opportunity to hear from speakers such as, Jeff McMullen, Sarah Kastelic, Kurt Fearnley and Anita Heiss amongst others has been greatly valued and appreciated by those attending.

Have a look at some of the beautiful artworks and sacred spaces on display...
