Christmas Message to Staff

Director's News | Christmas Message to Staff

Posted 22 December 2016 by Peter Turner in Director's News

As we bring the 2016 year to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each of you for the myriad of outstanding things that have happened in our schools throughout the year.

In recent weeks I have had the opportunity to visit a number of schools and amidst the busyness and complexity of school life, the commitment and spirit of our teaching and support staff is so clearly evident.  The complexity of school life reflects the multifaceted reality of our broader world, making it even more important for the Catholic School to be a “constant” in the lives of our young people.  That “constant”, consisting of care, compassion, fair discipline, academic challenge and faith companionship, is the gift given by you in 2016, and I thank you for this.

With Christmas now upon us, I take this opportunity to wish each of you, your families and friends, the peace and joy brought by the celebration of the birth of Christ.

I wish you a safe and restful vacation break.

With best wishes

Peter Turner
Director of Schools
