With the HSC just over 3 months away, Year 12 students are being encouraged to use the upcoming holiday break to plan effectively for their exams. The 2018 HSC Study Guide is designed to help students in that preparation, providing useful advice for students for this year's exams and 'surviving Year 12 and beyond'.

A joint initiative between NESA and the Sydney Morning Herald, the guide is full of practical information, data, tips and advice for HSC students from NESA’s curriculum inspectors, experienced teachers and high achieving students.

You will find useful articles, sample questions and guidance on specific HSC courses, plus inspiration, motivation, stress-busting strategies and other advice for students and parents. Throughout the site, there are also interactive elements such as videos and a fun mini quiz for students to 'discover what kind of HSC student' they are.

About 78,000 students from 870 schools across NSW and overseas will sit the HSC exams, making it the most awarded school-completion credential in Australia and one which is well respected internationally. Whether students are looking to university, work or vocational education and training, the HSC helps equip them with the skills needed to flourish in a rapidly changing world.

We commend the 2018 HSC Study Guide to you as a valuable resource for our Year 12 students achieving their best in the upcoming HSC period. We wish them well with their studies and exam preparation!
