Taneesah was one of three winners Australia-wide to receive the 2016/17 Australia Indonesia Association Scholarship Program. The scholarship involves a two -week homestay program and intensive language course in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

As team leader of the Indigenous Dance Group at St John the Evangelist Nowra, Taneesah has extensive experience as a cultural ambassador in the arts and is keen to share her passion and knowledge of indigenous Australian culture with the people she meets during her time on the AIA Scholarship in Indonesia.
