The CEDoW annual Accreditation Recognition Ceremony acknowledges teachers for achieving National Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation levels by conferring on them an Accreditation Recognition Award.
In recognition of a teacher's achievement of NESA accreditation levels, the following acknowledgements will be provided by CEDoW:
- PROFICIENT TEACHER - All teachers who have attained the level of Proficient by the end of Term 2 each year, and have worked the equivalent of 100 or school more days within systemic schools of the diocese, will receive a framed certificate and a bronze CEDoW pin. Schools will take responsibility to distribute these at a suitable event in their local calendars (e.g. at the same time Length of Service Recognition is presented).
- HIGHLY ACCOMPLISHED TEACHER - All teachers who have attained the level of Highly Accomplished by the end of Term 2 each year, and have worked the equivalent of 100 or more school days within the systemic schools of the Diocese, will receive a framed certificate and a silver CEDoW pin. These teachers will be invited to attend the Lighting the Way Faith and Learning Recognition Awards Evening.
- LEAD TEACHER - All teachers who have attained the level of Lead by the end of Term 2 each year, and have worked the equivalent of 100 or more school days within the systemic schools of the Diocese, will receive a framed certificate and a gold CEDoW pin. These teachers will be invited to attend the Lighting the Way Faith and Learning Recognition Awards Evening.
