The aim of this focus area is to ensure the holistic growth of students is optimised by taking an integrated approach to learning and wellbeing. This includes proactively supporting students to build resilience, confidence, and self-efficacy.

For a child to truly flourish, their academic growth and emotional wellbeing must be nurtured together. When students feel safe and confident they learn better; and when they achieve academically, their self-esteem and resilience grow.

By taking an integrated approach to faith, learning and wellbeing, we’ll help our students grow the vital skills they need to succeed in both school and life. We will promote excellence and high expectations, as we support students to build the knowledge and skills that allow them to think deeply, solve problems, and communicate well. By building their confidence and resilience through evidence-based practices and our rich Catholic tradition, we’ll prepare students to be lifelong learners who can flourish in their own lives while making a positive difference for others.
