Jordan Doris (Mt Carmel) and Luke Small (Magdalene) won gold in their respective 800m track events at Schools Nationals in December.

The Australian All Schools National Athletics Championships were staged in Adelaide from 7-9 December attracting the best athletes from across Australia. Jordan won gold in the 17 years 800m and silver in the 400m while Luke won gold in the multi-class 800m event. 

A great story with Jordan competing as a year 12 student in his last National event and Luke competing as a year 7 student in his first secondary schools national event. Congratulations to both young men on an outstanding achievement.
