We welcome you back to our 2021 year of Wollongong Diocesan and pathway sport. It has been a busy start to the year with the following team selections being completed:

  • Primary AFL (combined with Canberra/Goulburn)
  • Secondary boys and girls 15's and Open Touch
  • Primary Swimming
  • Primary Netball
  • Primary boys and girls Football
  • Primary U/11's and Open Rugby League
  • Primary boys and girls Hockey.

In the coming weeks we will select our secondary swim team, our primary Boys and Girls Touch teams and our 15's and Open Rugby League teams.

We successfully hosted the MacKillop Basketball and Tennis Trials in Wollongong on Friday 26 February.

All of our events have been operating under strict COVID safety protocols and plans and we have recently invited spectators back to our Diocesan event program. This is a changing area and we will adapt as needed inline with advice from our CEDoW leadership, CSNSW and the NSW government.

A significant announcement was made by the board of School Sport Australia (SSA) on Tuesday 9 March, canceling all SSA events for the year. At this stage we are yet to confirm our NSWPSSA and NSW All Schools status but our intentions are to complete our local representative team selections and commitments in anticipation of a full NSW pathway event program. More details will be announced here around this.

In the meantime, stay safe, play fair and with respect for all and we look forward to some great sporting opportunities moving forward.
