A warm welcome back to all students, staff, parents, carers and supporters of our Wollongong Diocesan sporting program.

We are planning for a full program of events in 2023 and kicked off with our primary and secondary sport coordinator meetings last week.

Our events are bound by advice from an educational perspective and therefore at times will differ from community sport events. We ask all to be considerate of this and to be patient - we still aim to provide a great pathway of representative sport for our students.

Our primary program starts off with the following events: 

• combined AFL trials on Tuesday 15 Feb

From there we then move into our swimming carnivals and winter sports trials.

Our secondary program starts from week 4 with the following events:

• tennis teams qualifying event on Wednesday 8 Feb
• combined AFL U15's Southern Country Boys Trial 1 March
• girls touch on 3 March
• boys touch on 9 March

From there we have our swimming championships and selections in rugby league. We are pleased to extend our secondary pathway opportunities this year in 18's Girls Rugby League and the inclusion of Wollongong Netball team selections
