There is a lot of publicity surrounding representative sport in the Diocese of Wollongong.  Stories about students, and names and photographs of students, are published on the website, on social media and occasionally in the newspaper.  This is because we are immensely proud of our students and we would like to share the news of their achievements with everyone!

Parents are informed of this upon their child being selected for representation, and are asked to notify the Sports Council via email if they DO NOT want their child's name or photograph to be published.

Parents are also asked to submit a clear headshot for the private use of the Sports Committee, so they are familiar with the student (and know not to take their photo).

More often than not, photos will be posted without names. However, there is no option for photo without name, or name without photo, due to the fast-pace nature of sporting events.  Students must either have permission for full publicity or no publicity at all.
